I’m a bit all over the place when it comes to what I’m sharing out today and I don’t apologize for it. Honestly, my head is all over the place, so it makes sense. We all have those days, right? When, although you’re getting a lot done and seem to be focused, you can feel your mind going a million miles an hour in the background? Kind of crazy but it’s a feel that surely makes “Time Fly” meaning now is the perfect time to check out “Time Flies” from Discorrected.

This fast and furious song is about how you can feel differently about time depending on the situation. Sometimes you want it to slow down, other times you wish it would move a bit faster. As the band says in this powerful and anthmic song, “Sometimes time flies, sometimes it’s stuck in traffic.” The energy of this song matches the sentiment so perfectly. There are moments of desperation followed by range with only seconds scattered throughout the song where you can catch your breath. It’s perfect, it’s old school punk feeling with a new-school mosh pit energy about it. Whether you want time to slow down or feel like it’s already going slow enough, “Time Flies” from Discorrected will give you at least two minutes of joy where time is only a construct because, as this song plays, it quickly becomes the only thing that matters.
