I took last night off from concerts. There were plenty of amazing shows happening around town, but honestly, I just needed a night off. It felt good, but I woke up this morning craving the feeling of live music. Thankfully for me, I have a great show lined up for tonight, but that doesn’t help me get through the lengthy day of craziness. What will help me get through what will surely be a manic Thursday is some new music so let’s jump right in starting with “I Love You All” from Trip Sitter.

This four-minute long song has a definite groove to it, which is what had me hooked the second I started listening. It’s not intense, not in your face, or abrasive. It’s actually pretty chill and calm, but there’s a true power that comes through in the psychedelic haze that this song will cast over your heart. Reverb-drenched harmonies matched with fuzzy shoegaze instrumentation create highlights throughout this track that make the four minute song feel like it’s over in just a blink of an eye. Have you ever wondered what it may feel like to fly through the clouds? I feel like Trip Sitter has nailed that feeling so perfectly in this track. Does that make zero sense to you? Fair– honestly, it’s hard to expand on this idea but, just one listen to “I Love You All” and you will surely find yourself among the clouds and with a slight escape from the busy day you have ahead.
