I honestly have no clue what it means to “Do the Twenty Two!” but I know that after listening to this song from Pinc Louds, it’s all I want to do.

It’s the early afternoon slump, and I’m feeling it, but this song perked me back up instantly. With an undeniable sense of infectious energy and the presentation that comes with a little extra razzle-dazzle and drama to really hook you, “Sequins (Do the Twenty Two!)” had me falling head over heels with Pinc Louds. The song starts off with a Broadway-worthy sense of drama. It takes about a minute for you to really feel the power of Pinc Louds, but let me tell you, this build-up is worth it even if you’re not a Broadway kinda gal like I am. When the song does hit, it hits hard. Stylistically, it’s a little folk meets punk. Although those words equate to folk punk, something about this song has it drifting away into it’s only subgenre of music. It’s just so fresh and unique. Truthfully, it’s one of the most unique things I’ve heard in a hot minute and it’s perfect. Looking for a little early afternoon pick-me-up? “Sequins (Do the Twenty Two!)” from Pinc Louds is absolutely what you need.
