“Excusing The Hurt” is a song that urges you not to be defined by the hurt that has been plaguing you since your younger years. It reminds you that you can make the conscious choice to change things and not let the hurt you feel leak onto the next generation. I know, deep thoughts and ideas on a Thursday morning, but this is such an important message, and it is paired with a truly stunning piece of art when it comes to this song. Good Teal’s sound is intense and, at times, almost desperate, but in all of the right reasons. There’s a raw element that permeates this song, which is only emphasized by the raw clips and cuts that comprise the accompanying video. Good Teal is more than just a killer band; they are a killer band with a message, and I really hope you all listen up and check them out.
