How many singles are too many to share out in one day? Honestly, I’m sure there’s a number, but there are just so many new tracks out there that I can’t help it! I know I’ve been on a rampage lately, but I won’t apologize for it, nor do I see it ending anytime soon. It definitely won’t end when new bands like Detester keep coming across my radar.

“Baseball Bar” is the first song to ever come from the new Southern-California band Detester, and it instantly hooked me. This song is uber fast, at just a few seconds over a minute long, but Detester knows how to pack a punch. “Baseball Bat” seems to be a political statement on the state of the world. There’s no shortage of anger and angst, but with a song being about how everything is going right now, isn’t that the way it should be? I loved how this song was as intense and brutal as it was an emotional and cathartic release for me. Sure, it’s quick, but “Baseball Bat” from Detester will make you feel so many things all at once, so sit back, buckle up, and enjoy!
