I know I recently introduced you to Mad Apple Circus when I reviewed their “Forget the Day” single, but I just wanted to remind you just how amazing this band is by sharing yet another single from their album ‘WRITTEN IN CAPITALS.’

“Spitfire Dub” is the fourth single from this band’s amazing album ‘WRITTEN IN CAPITALS’, and it’s as unique as it is powerful. It’s park ska, part punk, part hip-hop, and all flawless. As the band puts it, this song is a “stank-face generator.” I’ll be honest, I had no clue what that meant before I hit play on this song, but within the first thirty seconds, I found myself making a “stank-face.” There’s a definite groove to this song, but there’s also this infectiously bouncy aspect to it at the same time. This song feels like a summer music festival with the energy that it gives you. It makes you want to be lost in a crowd, sweaty under the sun, and with a giant smile on your face. There are many memorable lines of words and notes in this song that will instantly get stuck in your head, so after you’re inevitably hooked by this track, I highly encourage you to check out ‘WRITTEN IN CAPITALS’ as a whole. It has consumed and taken over my daily playlist, and I don’t see it going away anytime soon.
