We all crave for “Better Days.” It doesn’t matter how good your day gets; it could always get better, and I feel like it’s almost daunting to think about. Missing Since Monday has taken this whole existential crisis and put it into a super catchy pop-punk anthem that is absolutely the perfect way to kick off your Wednesday.
This song feels like it’s straight out of an early 2000s movie. It’s anthemic and pop-punk-perfect. You can almost see the skateboarders in their baggy Dickie pants rolling around a skatepark and feel the sun on your skin as you listen to this quick, two and a half minute long song. There’s a strong Blink-182 influence here, but there’s also a little twist that can only be called Missing Since Monday. This song reminds me of the good ol’ days when things were just a bit simpler and times were a bit easier. I wish I had more to say about this song, but it’s honestly just one of those songs that is so fun to get lost in, so let it happen. Just listen and enjoy, and then show this band some serious love.
