Happy Wednesday, everyone. I don’t have anything quirky or fun to share right now. Honestly, it’s just another work day and I feel like it’s going to be a busy one so, before I get in too deep as far as work is concerned, I figured I would take a little break and check out some new music to see if it will help guide my day in a way that I want it to go.
I love how moody “Galaxy Summer House” from Ghost Tour is. It’s not moody in the dramatic sense but more with the way all of the elements of this song work together. The bassline and drums throughout this song seem sticky and full of swagger, while the vocals take a more fiery approach to things. The way these two different vibes combine creates this song that seems to be as off-kilter as my own mood swings in all of the right ways. It’s like Ghost Tour can’t make up their mind if this is going to be an optimistic bop or a more intense anthem. What they have come up with while dabbling between those two words is something as beautiful as it is emotional, and “Galaxy Summer House” is one of those songs that will make you feel everything and nothing all at the same time.
