I don’t really have much for you this morning. It’s another day in Minneapolis where my phone keeps going off with ICE alerts and I’m trying my best to stay focused. So far, so good and, although I pause to check on things every couple of minutes, I’m feeling motivated to get work done today which is a new feeling. Let’s see how long this lasts and if checking out new music can help me stay motivated.

“Vacuum” is a heavy song but not in the typical sense of the word. Overall, I would call this a pop-punk anthem. The vocals, at first, feel almost Less Than Jake styled with a whole lot of bounce but, as the song moves along, you get a bit more grit, a bit more danger from some of the guitar tones and noises. Just when you start to settle into this stark yet amazing juxtaposition, Noodle Charity and bloodfeather hit you with a breakdown of epic proportions. I’m not going to ruin this by telling you when this breakdown hits or how it hits but I will say that it will catch you and make “Vacuum” an instant classic more than worthy of your daily playlist.
