Did you see the halftime show? I’m not s sportsball person (and yes, I’m the kind of person who calls it sportsball) but I always watch the halftime show and Bad Bunny’s performance made my heart so very happy. I won’t get into it. I’m sure you’ve all had conversations at work or elsewhere about the show already but, just my two cents that nobody asked for, it was great and a perfect example of what makes America the beautiful melting pot that it is. None of this has anything to do with “Unlimited” from Crab but this is where my head is at this early Monday morning.

“Unlimited” from Crab is as textured as all of the bright green bushes that were swaying during Bad Bunny’s performance yesterday. It’s lush and deep with many different pathways to chose from when it comes to listening to this nearly four-minute long song and that’s what makes it such a great journey. You can get lost in the slightly fuzzy guitar or strong and powerful drum beat that drives this song forward or, if you’re like me, you can get lost in the vocals. They are haunting but not in the typical sense of that word. They aren’t whispered or anything like that but seem to just be another layer of contrasting texture in this song that had me hooked. The first single from Crab’s collaboration with Stephen Kurpis of Viturvian Sound, “Unlimited” feels like entering a whole new world and it’s a world that, when the song was over, I wasn’t quite ready to leave so I had to listen to the track again, and again, and again, and again, and…
