Girl at the Rock Shows

I’ve seen Lost Evidence’s name around town time and time again. This local band is always playing at some of the best local venues and on some of the sickest bills but I’ve never been able to catch them. I hate that and hearing their song “Hey Little Fascist” feels like adding just a little pinch of salt to the wound because this is a song that begs to be experienced live.

To say that “Hey Little Fascist” is a super timely and topical song for what’s happening up here in Minneapolis would be an understatement. I feel like that adds just the perfect amount of spice, angst, and fire to this already explosive track. This is a true anti-fascist anthem. It’s a fast and furious punk song that has metal tendencies and enough grit to knock you off your feet. The song is unrelenting in all of the best of ways. The energy never waivers and although there is a clear composition to the track, I love how it feels like just a constant assault of passion, fire, and talent. Like what you hear here? Lost Evidence has plenty of other material out there including their new album ‘Exhibit A’ which is ready for consumption so check it out and show this amazing Twin Cities-based band some love.
