Girl at the Rock Shows

We are all just an email or a call away from a bad day. I know that’s such a pessimistic way to look at thing but it’s the truth and you all know it. Although I hope you all have a great Friday, I think it’s a good idea to have a little angsty track in your back pocket in the case that things go south and “BACKSTABBER” from Kill Lonely is that track.

“BACKSTABBER” is just under three minutes of pure intensity and spite. As the band puts it, this song is a “really intense a song to punch someone in the face to.” Although I’m not at all promoting violence or punching someone in the face, I love the catharsis of this song. You can take all of your pent up aggression and rage and let it go to this song in such a perfect way. Many songs like this will give you a breather, a chance to digest the angst, but not Kill Lonely. This song is powerful through the very, bitter end and I loved that about this track. I don’t know much about this band and wasn’t give any background on them in conjunction with this track but I know that this is a band and a song that I will be keeping in my back pocket for when the other shoe drops when it comes to my day.
