I am stress eating pretzels. I honestly don’t even love them and they are a bit stale at this point but stress eating through this bag feels like the right thing to do. It’s not a bad day, but absolutely a manic one and I can not, for the life of me, get ahead of work stuff. It’s stressful but I will not give in and I will continue to steal some time here and there to check out some new music like “Music in the Neighbourhood” from L.A. Sagne.
This is not the first time I’ve written about this band and it won’t be the last. I just can not get enough of their gritty garage-rock style and I love how it’s showcased throughout this three minute and twelve second song. There were moments of the song that reminded me of Lambrini Girls with the insane amount of grit and angst they have in their sound but then there are moments that remind me a bit more of C.S.S. with the infectious dancability that comes through loud and clear here. Whether you want to get lost in the grit or fall for the infectious energy, this track from L.A. Sagne’s debut album, ‘Good Company’ will have you hooked into L.A. Sagne’s world (which, if you ask me, is a pretty amazing world to be in).
