Girl at the Rock Shows

I know that today is supposed to be a strike day and I’m all for that but I am also someone who lives fairly paycheck to paycheck so taking a day off was just not in the cards for me today. Don’t worry, I plan to take my boots to the ground the second I get off of work but, until then, I have no choice but to work. Is it insensitive of me to post on a day like this? Maybe but I feel like, at the same time, is this really work? I mean, I just get to sit here and check out new music all day, everyday (while doing a million other things). What I’m trying to say is please don’t crucify me for posting today. Instead, enjoy some new music while we all try to fight the system in any way that we can.

“PATIENCE” may be a short song at just two minutes and twenty-two seconds long but it absolutely packs a punch. This song is about, well, “PATIENCE.” It’s about needing patience to get through the hard times and knowing that, at the end of the day, everything will be okay. What a perfect message for the crazy and hectic week I’ve had. Stylistically, this show is pure heavy chaos but it’s organized in a way that the message is as clear as the groove. From moments of a little nu-metal influence to an almost grindcore style insanity, “PATIENCE” from ACORAH is definitely the kind of song that will get your blood pumping on a Friday morning whether you need it to get through the day of work or motivate you to get out on the streets during this day of striking and fighting for social justice.
