I love songs that have a powerful message and a catchy vibe. That’s exactly what you get with “I Don’t Wanna Be Without You” from Lucky Hit. At first listen, this is just a super fun pop-punk track full of angst and heart but, as you dig into it, you realize just how sensitive and meaningful every words and the overall message of this song is.

“I Don’t Wanna Be Without You” is the first single from Lucky Hit’s upcoming third EP. It’s about life. I know that sounds so general but, really, that’s what it is and it’s about how life is hard for everyone so we all need to be there for each other because, ultimately, “I Don’t Wanna Be Without You.” Whether you take the words of this song in the broad picture kind of way thinking about friends that mean a lot to you or if you minimalize it a bit to a super closed loved one or your ride or die, the message is the same, life is hard but don’t go anywhere because this is all there is and we have to make the best of it. I’ll be honest, I’m having a good mental health day so this song didn’t hit me as hard as I’m sure it would had it been a rough day for me but you best believe I’ll be keeping this song in my back pocket for those heavy days when it feels like nothing is going to get better.
