It has definitely been a busy and manic morning but I am somehow keeping my head above water and I think I have all of this amazing new music to thank so why stop? Let’s keep things going and jump into yet another new song. This one is coming in hot from Tonal Bliss.
“Devil Got To You” is one of those songs that came to me without any background. I don’t know anything about Tonal Bliss and know even less about this song. I can’t tell you what was going through their heads when writing this song and can’t even tell you where this band is from but I can tell you that this song had me hooked on my first listen. It’s a grungy little number full of dramatic mood swings of dynamics and power. There’s something slightly classic about the overall style of this track but there’s also something fresh about the delivery of the song. From moments that reminded me a bit of Soundgarden to moments that seem to have a bit more of a Nirvana-styled grit, “Devil Got To You” kept me on the edge of my chair while also giving me something to really get obsessed with.
