Money is a funny thing, isn’t it? It’s what motivates most people and can make or break people. At the same time, it’s a silly thing. It’s just a piece of paper or a number in the bank. Personally, there’s never enough money for my dreams, but that’s okay because, really, that’s just life. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have “All the Money in the World,” but in that same thought, I think about how miserable it could become. Okay, my thoughts on money are as conflicted as they are convoluted, and I’m sure I’m not the only one with that feeling, but don’t let that stop you from checking out this amazing song from Fight Back Mountain.

Much like the emotions that the song title may bring to your mind, this song from Fight Back Mountain is turbulent and angsty in all of the right ways. In true Fight Back Mountain fashion, this song hits you with the perfect amount of grit to make you get down and dirty with your own thoughts while giving you a sense of energy that I think we could all use on a Friday morning. This song is about finding happiness when everything feels stacked against you. It’s about finding “All the Money in the World” and realizing that, at the end of the day, that doesn’t bring you mental wellbeing or a sense of belonging– or does it? What a perfectly angsty anthem for those of us who can get lost in our own thoughts but know, at the end of the day, our happiness is up to us, nothing and no one else.
