I got nothing for you today. I’m struggling to keep my motivation, knowing there’s a massage in my future as soon as I leave my day job and that it’s a long holiday weekend. I could sit here and try to come up with some quirky intro, but why waste the time and rack my brain when all I really want to do is jump into yet another new song?

No Better Today is a pop-punk band from Chicago with a pop-punk-perfect sound. Don’t believe me? Check out “Nothing Left.” The band wastes no time plunging you into their world of subtle angst and perfectly infectious energy. Within the first couple of seconds of this song, I was feeling a sense of energy that I hadn’t felt all morning. I love how fast this song is beatwise, but how the three and a half minutes that it lasts don’t feel out of control or rushed. Somehow, No Better Today has found a balance between hurried chaos and calming control, and to say it’s perfect would be an understatement. “Nothing Left” won’t only fill you with energy, it will get stuck in your head and leave you wanting so much more from this band.
