It’s one of those days when I just can’t seem to focus on anything. Nothing is wrong or anything like that, but I’m just kind of feeling it today, and, because of that, it’s been a bunch of deleted drafts of me starting things just to give up and move on to the next. I wish I knew how to change this mentality, but nothing I’ve tried thus far has helped. Maybe taking a breather to check out “Deleted Draft” from Mavis will do the trick.

Mavis claims that “Deleted Draft” is a fan favorite, but, honestly, I believe them. This is a catchy little bop with no shortage of raw emotion radiating from every single word. In true nostalgic emo form (but with this subtle southern swagger that vies Mavis their distinct and amazing sound), this song will make you feel absolutely everything that you may have been trying to run from previously in the day, but also give you something to get excited about. I love how this song isn’t overly energetic or aggressive, yet the track’s overall feel will get you moving. Maybe that’s move in the physical sense of maybe that’s move as in trying to move a creative or energy block that is plaguing you. Either way, “Deleted Draft” from Mavis did the trick for me and I think that after just one listen to this quick, three and a half minute long song, it may just do the trick for you too!
