I’m not sure where the day is going. I’m getting a lot done but I swear I just got to work and now it’s already lunch time. I had these grand plans of sharing out a single almost every hour, but clearly, that’s not going to happen today, so I guess I’ll just have to share out some certified bangers that will tie you over for a couple of hours like “It Takes Two” from The Bullet Ants.

This song feels like growing up in the 90’s and early 2000s. It tastes like childhood and smells like nostalgia. Okay, obviously, you can’t really taste childhood or smell nostalgia, but within just seconds of this quick, two-minute, and fifteen-second song, you’ll get what I mean. This song is easy and breezy. It’s charming and playful but has that perfect amount of 90s grit behind it to give it an anthemic power that gets hooked in your head and will absolutely give you a little jolt of energy. I often talk about certain 90s songs being “Holiday Pool music” in reference to the community pool that my mom would take my brother and me to daily in the summer when growing up. This is the epitome of Holiday Pool music, but with a modern twist. Smile, take a breather, and just relax if only for about two minutes during the bliss that is “It Takes Two” from The Bullet Ants.
