Girl at the Rock Shows

I honestly don’t have an intro for you right now. The morning is trucking along, and I am staying on top of work, so I’m feeling great, but just in need of another new song to spark a sense of motivation and energy in me. So, instead of wasting time, let’s just jump right in and check out “Lebanese Christmas” from Jerkazoid.

“Lebanese Christmas” is a short and punchy punk rock anthem. It bridges the gap between a very Jeff Rosenstock feel and a more Tony Hawk Pro Skater Soundtrack vibe. It’s a cool and fast song that lasts just under two minutes, but they pack a punch of political satire and energy into every beat that makes it both feel like it’s over in the blink of an eye and go on for days. I feel like I should have so much more to say about this song but, when push comes to shove, I just don’t. It’s a no frills kind of punk anthem and that’s all that really needs to be said. I don’t know where Jerkazoid comes from or where they’ve been all my life, but I know that just one listen to this quick song, and I am in love and craving more from this amazing band.
