I was hoping for a super chill week at my day job so I could get prepped for the insanity to come this weekend at Riot Fest. Unfortunately, that’s not how the week is playing out. My day job has been busier than ever, and although it’s making time go by fast, it’s frustrating that I’m so far behind on everything else in my life. I won’t let it get to me. I leave tomorrow for my favorite weekend of the year, and I am not about to let my day job ruin that, so let’s celebrate a little bit today by filling the day with amazing new music like “10th Avenue North” from cut the cord.

I don’t know what town “10th Avenue North” is in, but I know it’s a place I want to be. I assume it’s somewhere in South Florida, as that’s where Cut the Cord is. is from, but regardless, it just feels like it’s a street full of life and charisma. At least, that’s what this song is. A classic pop-punk jam, “10th Avenue North is both salty and sweet. A perfectly curated edge of angst is scattered through a song of carefree pop-punk positivity. Add in the slightly cliché lyrics about a hometown and love and love lost, and you get a song that fills you with nostalgia while also giving you the energy to take on your day. Whether you want to dance around your space while jamming this song or just get lost in the positive mentality that “10th Avenue North” will surely give you, this song from cut the cord. is what you need to get on the right track for your Wednesday.
