Girl at the Rock Shows

I like loud and heavy when I first wake up but all I could think about this morning was “Waste” by Creek Violence. Although not super intense and in your face, the amount of emotion that this song has is absolutely staggering to say the least. With vocals that, at times, reminded me of Hotel Books and instrumentation that brought a bit more of an edge to it, I was lost in Creek Violence’s world throughout this nearly four minute long song.

I truly wish I had more to say about this song but, the truth is, I just feel so lost for words every time I put this song on. The weight of the words and emotions is almost too much to bear but in a good way. It’s a good song to get reflective during and to just blow off some steam throughout. Looking to get a little emotional? Put on “Waste”. Seriously.
