If you aren’t listening to Cooper T, are you even living? Okay, that’s a little dramatic but just one listen to Cooper T’s track “Original” and you will surely fall in love just like I did.
This song is definitely a bit different from what I typically share out stylistically but that’s purely because, when it comes to trying to classify this into one style, it won’t happen. A little hip-hop, a little rock, an infectious bass line, deep vocals– this song has it all and none of it makes sense but all comes together to create an oddly enthralling track that had me hooked instantly. Add the slightly hilarious and just as quirky music video and you are left with a song and visual that will leave you ever so slightly confused. I think that’s why I like this all so much. Even as the song ended, I was left trying to figure out what just happened and, when I couldn’t quite put my thoughts into words, I couldn’t help but push play on this song and video again. Like I said, it’s addicting, it’s weird, it’s quirky, and it’s absolutely perfect.
