Girl at the Rock Shows

I had too many weddings to list last year. I was in over half of them and I enjoyed every single one as I watched some of my best friends tie the knot with some truly amazing people. Although I’m in a super amazing relationship, marriage isn’t quite what’s on my mind right now but I’d be lying if I didn’t get a little caught up in all of the frenzy last year. Just a couple of days ago, a friend asked for my address for an invite to his wedding and I could feel that frenzy starting to take me over again. That’s what makes “Wedding Song” from Combo Move such a fit for me right now.

As Jeddy James from Combo Move describes the song, “This song is about watching all of your friends start to get married. I’m usually quite good at being single, and one summer I went to several weddings of close friends. I tried to imagine how I would have to feel to get married, and that’s essentially what this song represents.” and I honestly think that is conveyed perfecting throughout “Wedding Song”. There’s something soft and sweet about this song that seems to represent weddings in general but the vocals come with an edge which represents the feelings that Jeddy seems to have on weddings which mirror my same thoughts. All of these elements come together to create a perfect song that I felt all the way down to my core. Although I don’t have nearly as many weddings to go to this year, “Wedding Song” from Combo Move will absolutely be a go to for me as I prepare to celebrate even more of my friends finding their bliss in perfect partners.
