For better or for worse, we have made it to another Monday. I have nothing witty to kick the day off with because, well, Monday, but I do have some amazing music that will surely help get your week started off right beginning with “Kill The Dream” from Tripsun.
“Kill The Dream” is the title track off of Tripsun’s debut album and if this is any indication as to what the future holds for the band, well, I’m hopelessly optimistic. There’s something calming and chill about this song while it gives you an undeniable sense of energy at the same time. There’s a zen quality to the vocals but a truly rockin’ vibe to the instrumentation that comes together to form a song that is equally familiar and foreign at the same time. The first comparison I want to make to Tripsun would be Small Towns Burn a Little Slower but I realize that’s a bit of an obscure reference. Basically, it’s an oganic blend of pop-punk with indie-pop styled vocals and alt-rock styled energy. Long story short, just check out “Kill The Dream” and make sure you get your week started off right.
