Happy Friday, everyone! It’s gloomy, dark, and rainy up here in the Twin Cities which, when mixed with my current exhaustion level, has me wanting to be all curled up in bed still but here I am, at the office, struggling to stay awake. Lucky for me, I have some amazing songs to share with you today that will surely get both your and my blood moving starting with “The Reset” from Radical Radio.
Radical Radio is from Rosario, Argentina so it’s no surprise that the lyrics in this song are in Spanish. This makes it impossible for me to tell you what this song is exactly about without sinking a lot of time and frustration into Google translate but who cares about the lyrics. This song rips. It’s catchy and infectious with a little bit of an angst edge sprinkled throughout the three and a half minutes. You get a little bit of everything from Radical Radio in this track. The biggest influence is clearly just good ol’ fashioned rock n’ roll but, throughout this song, you can also hear nods to everything from classic rock to ska. The infectious beat will have you tapping your toes in no time so don’t resist. Let “The Reset” take you over and start your day off right.
