I’m just one day into my first concert bender of the year but that mixed with a change-up at my day job has me feeling frustrated, defeated, stressed, and exhausted. That’s okay though because I’m not the only one feeling the pressure. Too Early to Tell’s new track “Almost Okay” is about the struggles and frustrations of working a day job while still trying to quench that thirst for something creative and something that fuels your fire. To say it hit me hard as I hit play on this track this morning would be an understatement.

Hailing from Long Island, New York, Too Early To Tell is one of those bands that not only sings about relatable things, they have a sound that is just as relatable and accessible. You hear that clearly throughout this impactful and beautiful three and a half minute song. The genres heard throughout the song range from alternative, indie, rock and all the way to punk. The band uses little nods to all of these styles to create a sound that is as unique as it is cohesive. On top of that, there’s this slight swagger that comes through in the vocals of this track particularly which makes it easy to just slide along with every word that passes. A booming bass, slamming guitars, crashing cymbals, emotive lyrics– Too Early to Tell has it all and is definitely worth a listen and a peek when you have a second!
