I was doing so well today. I was getting so much done to where I’m almost completely caught up after being gone all weekend and then it hit me– that dreaded early afternoon slump. I’m struggling to stay awake at this point so I’m hoping that checking out a new song will help jolt me back to life.
Thankfully for me, the next song to share with you is “KIDZ THEZE DAYZ” from RISK. If this track doesn’t hit you like a swift kick to the butt, I don’t know what will. This song had me hooked within the first line. Although the song title says it all as far as the lyrical content of this song goes, I love the hidden message behind this song that talks about us still just being “KIDZ”. Okay, a little cheesy, I know but when matched with RISK’s pop-punk-perfect vibe, you are left with a jam that will thrill nostalgia seekers and new pop-punk lovers alike. I don’t know where RISK is from or when I’ll get a chance to see them live but, when that chance arises, I will absolutely be in the front row screaming along to every word of this song and their other powerful pop-punk anthems out there.
