I’m a true crime junkie. I mean, it goes without saying. Although I try to pretend I’m super unique and all that, I’m just a basic white girl in Minnesota with a love for Target and an obsession with murderers and all things true crime. That’s the first thing that drew me to Born For Nothing’s new song “3 Gram Blunt” but isn’t the only thing that had me hooked.
“3 Gram Blunt” is pop-punk perfection but with a twist. The jammy nature of this song almost makes you miss the fact that the lyrics reference horror and true time topics but it wasn’t lost on me. Sure, they got me with the epically fun guitar intro but I fell deep in love with this song as the lyrics started to tall their story. You know me and know that I won’t give it all away so you’ll just have to check this song out for yourself but the contrast of the boppiness of the instrumentation against the darkness of the lyrics is just absolutely perfect. For a high-energy start to your day, I highly suggest checking out “3 Gram Blunt” from Born For Nothing.
