Girl at the Rock Shows

I can already feel today slipping away. I’m doing by best not to get in my head about it because, at the end of the day, I can only do what I can do, but I’m starting to freak out a little bit that I’ll never get caught up on anything including sharing amazing singles for you. Although work is probably more important right now, I need a breather and a re-set.

“Siren’s Lullaby” is a song off of Electric High’s new album and it has such an insane amount of swagger behind it that it will surely make you stop whatever you are doing. There’s something slightly Queens of the Stone Age feeling about the beginning of this track but, as the song moves on, Electric High moves into something else and something that has left me a bit left for words. There’s definitely a strong psychedelic influence throughout this song but there’s also the muddiness of any good sludge track. On top of all of that, there’s this very staccato-feeling guitar riff that comes and goes throughout the song that has an almost more hard rock of years gone by vibe with it. All of these things, plus the dual vocals, come together to make “Siren’s Lullaby” from Electric High– a song that must be heard, not just read about. So what are you waiting for?
