Happy Tuesday, everyone. I hope your week is off to a good start. Mine has been a bit rocky but I’m determined to get it back on track and that’s going to be easy if I have more new music like Michael Zucker’s “Let You In”.
“Let You In” features famed Failure drummer Kellii Scott but, really, this song is all Michael Zucker. It’s an anthemic alt-rock anthem that comes with a subtle eerie vibe and an undeniable sense of power. I love the way that there’s such a severity to some parts of this track and more of a tender approach to others. It’s not a particularly fast or intense song compared to what I typically share out but I seriously could not get over the strength that comes with each beat throughout this nearly four-minute long song. On top of that, there’s a poetry to the vocals that gives this song an almost artistic and dramatic twist. “Let You In” is one of those songs where I felt like I had so much to say about it but, as it played through again and again, I couldn’t help but just get lost in the track leaving me at a loss for words so do yourself a favor and just check this track out for yourself.
