For the first time in a hot minute, I don’t have an intro for you. Honestly, it’s just another day in what has proven to be a super difficult week, and I’m just trying to keep my head above water at this point. Don’t let my lack of a quirky intro stop you from checking out “Lana” from Twilight Stunt Work. This song is absolutely worth your attention today and may be the only thing keeping me going at this point.

Hailing from the North Wales coast, Twilight Stunt Work is a duo formed of bassist/vocalist Chris James and guitarist/ vocalist Leam Jones but you wouldn’t be able to tell that from this song. The power behind “Lana” is insane. It’s not an aggressive kind of power as this song is super situated in the classic pop-punk vein of things but it’s the kind of power that fills a room as easily as it fills your heart. The Blink 182 influence that comes through in this song is clear and evident, but you also get many other subtle influences scattered throughout the three-and-a-half-minute song. “Lana” will comfort you if you need a little extra comforting today, or it will act as your pump-up jam if you’re in need of that little extra boost of energy. Regardless of what way you take it, “Lana” is a standout track in an over-saturated scene that, as I mentioned, is definitely worthy of your attention today.
