Happy Monday! I’ll be honest, I’m dragging this morning. It was a great weekend, but a busy one, and it’s one of those mornings when I feel like I’ll never truly catch up on things. That’s okay, though, because I have some great music to share today and through the rest of the week, that will surely help me stay motivated and energized, starting with “Aces & Eights” from Agent 51.
The second single from Agent 51’s album ‘Age of Validation,’ “Aces & Eights” is an anthemic and instant classic kind of song. Agent 51 has such a smooth blend of punk and Celtic rock in this song. The band is from Poway, California, but I feel like you could easily be fooled into thinking they are from Ireland just due to the perfection of the Celtic element in this song. Although this nearly three-minute song packs a punch, it remains chill and oddly calming, creating this energizing aura that is just perfect if you, too, are having a sleepy Monday morning where you are struggling to get the engines going.
