I am getting a lot done today, which feels great, but I am also having a hard time concentrating on much. Maybe it’s the high I’m still feeling after last night’s amazing concert, or maybe it’s the thrill of knowing that it’s a short week and my day job is done after tomorrow, if only for three days. Either way, my ADHD seems to be off the charts, but I have too much to do to let that get the best of me, so I’m hoping that, by spending some time sharing a new song with you, I can put my head back down and get back to work.

Everything about “Warning Signs” is empowering. From the lyrics that tell a story about walking away from a toxic relationship knowing that you did the right thing, to the carefree sunshine that seems to radiate from Sanny Veloo’s distinct laid-back rock groove, this is a feel-good song through and through and was just what I needed. There were a lot of comparisons that came to mind. I listened to this three-minute and seventeen-second song. They ranged from Weezer to a more standard 90s alt-rock-pop vibe in the vein of Third Eye Blind, all the way to the California sunshine that comes through with every Shwayze song. Although all of those names may feel somewhat random, they all have a common denominator, and that’s the sense of fun and joy, which is exactly what you get from “Warning Signs” by Sanny Veloo.
