I know today is a good day. You know how I know that? Because I have another new song from Bleeker to share with you all.
Bleeker has taken over my playlists and my heart because of songs like “Fuck You I’m Leaving.” As the band puts it, this song is an anthem a “great motivator for those leaving, a relationship, a job, a place… whatever.” Instead of being a cliche break-up song, this track is a celebration for all of those people who had taken the bull by the horns and said, quite plainly, “Fuck you I’m Leaving!” There’s a cool retro hue cast over this single but there’s also something super frsh and clear at the same time. Part of this song reminded me a bit of the swagger that you may get from a song from The Dirty Nil, but overall, this song is clearly one from Bleeker- a band with a distinct sound and style that refuses to be put into just one box. I seriously can not get enough of this band lately and, if you’ve been ignoring my calls to check them out thus far, “Fuck You I’m Leaving” will surely have you jumping on the Bleeker train before the song is over.
