“… if RAMMSTEIN and CARDI B had a child, he would be called FVRIA …”

Yeah, FVRIA had my attention with that statement, but I have to be honest, I wasn’t super optimistic about falling in love with “Cocaine Witch” (the track that came with that description). It just sounded a bit too out there, a bit too bold. I mean, come on, Rammstein meets Cardi B? Absolutely not.. or was it possible?

Spoiler alert: It is possible, and it can only be done by FVRIA, so don’t even try to attempt something like this. “Cocaine Witch” truly is a blend of two wholly separate worlds. There’s a brashness to the rapping in here that collides perfectly with the heavy and intense instrumentation. There were moments throughout this song that reminded me a bit of H09909 or Ghostmane, so that kind of gives you a feeling of what’s in store when it comes to this song, but there was also so much more. I just felt that there was this almost minimalistic approach to this song that helps every starkly different beat hit just a bit harder and grab you a bit more aggressively. I’ll be the first to admit that “Cocaine Witch” from FVRIA isn’t going to be for everyone, but even if it’s not your jam, it’s worth a listen if only because anyone and everyone can appreciate the creativity that they have put into this song.
