My “Untreated” ADHD has sent me on a million journeys already this morning. I’ve done the standard “put dishes away, start coffee, clean off my desk” kind of tasks, but I have also cleaned through all of my water bottles, wiped down shelves in the kitchen, and started scrubbing down a few walls in the house. “Untreated” isn’t always a bad thing. Case in point: all of the random tasks I’m getting done and this song from FVDE.

Although this song came out six months ago, it’s absolutely worth your attention. It’s a powerful post-hardcore-leaning track full of angst, passion, and everything good. Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, FVDE is the kind of band that clearly pays homage to bands and eras gone by, but has put its own twist on it. There were moments of this song that took me back to the early 2000s scene where Senses Fail and From First to Last reigned supreme, but to call this song a direct mimic of that sound or scene would be a farce. On top of the overall vibe of this song is the clear talent within this group. This song is tighter than tight and you can clearly hear all of the intricacies that make this track such a stunner. There are many twists and turns throughout this song, so hang on tight and enjoy the ride.
