Girl at the Rock Shows

There’s an ice storm on the way– or so they say. I had big plans for tonight. Okay, not big plans but plans that I was excited for but I fear that this impending ice storm my “Fuck Everything Up” which means this morning feels like the perfect time to check out this new song from GUNMOLL by the same name.

A new single from GUNMOLL’s upcoming full-length album due out in February of 2026, “Fuck Everything Up” starts with an almost exotic sound that instantly had me hooked. Although hailing from the Netherlands, GUNMOLL has an almost Indian influence to this song that I found super intriguing, but what I found even more intriguing is how that slightly unfamiliar sound quickly became something super relatable and fun. The chorus of this song is simple enough, but has an infectious dance-like beat behind it, which feels so different than the intricacies that come through during other parts of the song. You would think this contrast makes “Fuck Everything Up” feel choppy, but that’s far from what happens. GUNMOLL is somehow able to take these two very different vibes and combine them in such a perfect way. “Fuck Everything Up” is a bit out of left field compared to what I typically share, but the creativity and heart that GUNMOLL has put into this song is right up my alley, and I hope it’s up your alley too!
