In Limbo is not typically a phrase that I use in a positive way. It typically manes that I’m lost, to paralyzed to make a decision, you know, In Limbo. That slightly negative connotation attached to this phrase is now in the past because this band, In Limbo, and their new song “Depop” are just so stinking good.

“Depop” is In Limbo’s first ever song or so they say. Honestly, I find that hard to believe because this single checks all of the boxes for me. It’s explosive and so full of emotion. It’s raw with the vocals taking a turn for something a bit vulnerable but, at the same time, it’s perfectly polished in a way that fits the track in a stunning way. For those of you who are wondering what Midwest Emo is or how to jump in, this song is perfect for you. All of those aforementioned elements are what makes a Midwest Emo anthem perfect and they really pop throughout this nearly four-minute long song. I will warn you, this song is a rollercoaster ride of emotions. You’ll smile at some of the relatable lyrics. You’ll probably cringe at some of the lyrics as well as you look back on certain moments of your life. You’ll get lost in your thoughts but this song will also act as a reminder that you’re not alone. Long story short, “Depop” from In Limbo is perfect and this is absolutely a band that I hope to see in a DIY venue near me sooner rather than later.
