I don’t have anything for you right now. It’s a Monday morning and although I was feeling all motivated this morning and powered through hours of work, I am starting to fade. I need to snap back into it. I need to get re-motivated and I’m hoping that “Talk About It” from Royals and Last Night Saved My Life can do the trick.

To say that “Talk About It” is a punchy, pop-punk anthem just feels so understated. This song pops in all of the right ways. From the brightness of the video to the infectious energy of the song, this was truly just what I needed. Lyrically, this song is about being stuck in an argumentative relationship. Although I can’t relate to that kind of situation in my love life, I can relate to it when it comes to work as I’ve found myself fighting with a few clients this morning. I love how this song is unapologetic. It takes that message and reminds you that you aren’t the only one in that spot and, at the end of the day, all you can do is stick to your guns and stay true to yourself. That message mixed with that anthemic and nostalgic pop-punk energy that Royals and Last Night Saved My Life does so well will surely make this an instant favorite for anyone who loves a little angst, a whole lot of heart, and an infectious bounce to their music.
