Girl at the Rock Shows

I know that it’s only been a couple of weeks since I shared “For the Better” from x2 fast with you and I know I’ve shared out many of their songs before but it never hurts to give you a little reminder about how amazing this band is every once in awhile so I’m here to share their new single, “Side x Side (feat. Two Year Break)” with you and to, yet again, remind you to following this band.

This is another straight-up pop-punk-perfect track from x2 Fast. Honestly, that’s no surprise and it’s not anything new. That doesn’t sound good, I know, but there’s really no better way to put it. This is just one of those super solid bands where every song comes drenched with their distinct personality while so there’s no mistaking it. I love the way that this band has taken such a nostalgic sound and vibe and put a fresh and modern twist on it. You can hear that in this song loud and clear. Sure, you get this Blink-182 anthem kind of vibe along with the spit of Sum 41 but you also get a little new-school All Time Low bop in there and a slight Hot Mulligan kind of grit. Long story short, I don’t have much to say here other than this band is worthy of your attention and your time and, until you catch on, I will continue reminding you about x2 fast every chance I get.
