I really don’t have much for you right now. It’s a good morning and I’m definitely getting stuff done which feels great but there’s just nothing that exciting happening right now. Or at least there wasn’t until I checked out “Hangman” from Broken 3 Ways.

“Hangman” caught me in at least 3 Ways (see what I did there?). Not only is this a ska anthem that will make you want to strap on your dancing shoes, there’s a punk edge that gives you just the perfect amount of spice to add to your morning coffee and then the ever so slight, tongue-in-cheek snark that comes from the lyrics in the track. Really, this song is a bit of a protest song. As the band puts it, “It captures the public’s frustration and the inevitable accountability for those who have wronged others” which, for this day and age, is so perfect. I’ll be honest, it wasn’t that message that really stuck with me. What had me hooked was just the sheer amount of positivity and energy that radiated from all three minutes and thirty-one seconds of this track. Like what you hear? You’re in luck! This song is part of Broken 3 Ways’ new EP ‘Doghouse EP’ which just came out a couple of weeks ago so check it out and be sure to show this band some love!
