Girl at the Rock Shows

I don’t have anything for you right now. Today doesn’t seem as manic as the rest of the week has but I’m swamped and doing my best to keep my head above water. Honestly, I shouldn’t be taking time out of the grind to check out a new song but, like I mentioned in my last post, it’s Friday and I want to have a little fun after the trying week I’ve had so let’s just jump right into the world that is “Choking On Butterflies” from Black Talons.

Although the idea of “Choking On Butterflies” is far from pleasant, this song will sing to your soul in a way only Black Talons can. This song is moody and it’s dark. It blends together everything from grunge to punk to emo and creates a sound that I promise anyone and everyone can find something enjoyable in. There’s an undeniable sense of power in this song that makes the track feel a little larger than life. The recording quality of the track has just the slightest reverb on it making it feel like an arena-ready song. Although I’m not sure when we will see Black Talons take on an arena, I am sure that this is a band that we should all keep our eyes on.
