It has been a hot minute since I’ve shared a song from FELIN but don’t let that fool you. FELIN is just about the only person I’ve been thinking about lately. Okay, that’s a bit of a lie but, truly, ever since I heard the first song from this powerhouse, I just have not been able to get enough so I am stoked to share “Hit Like A Girl” with you!
Much like every other songs I’ve heard and shared from FELIN, “Hit Like A Girl” is a ball of frenetic energy with a powerful message behind it. This song is for the girls through and through but, boys, you still need to check this out. It’s a powerful statement on a message as old as time. Its about being the strong and powerful woman that you wanted to be when you were a little girl and it’s the kind of energy that I think all of us females need to keep in mind on those days where we are struggling with things. Look, being a woman isn’t easy. I’m not saying that being a man is any easier but, I mean…. I love the triumphant energy of this song and love the fact that FELIN is using her platform to remind people that’s it’s okay to “Hit Like A Girl.” In fact, maybe that’s the kind of hit people and society needs right now because it’s one hell of a powerful hit.
