Is taking a break to check out a new song my best idea right now? Absolutely not. My emails are piling up with no end in sight and my email is messier than a Monday after a long weekend. Taking a break is the last thing I should do right now but it’s the only thing I want to do and, at this point, there’s no surviving the day without at least a few breakdowns so let’s go ahead and take a break in lieu of a breakdown and get whisked away to the world of Say You Won’t Let Go.

The second ever single from this band, “Marble Hornets” kicks off with a super catchy and intricate intro that will quickly draw you into Say You Won’t Let Go’s world before the band drops the hammer on you. The hammer is a delightful twist of angst, drama and intensity. Although that intricate instrumentation that kicked the song off remains in the background, strong vocals come and sweep you off your feet with ease. From there, it’s game over. This song is an ever change rollercoaster ride of emotions and sounds that will leave you engaged and in love for the entire three and a half minutes that it lasts. It’s pretty insane to think that this is only the second single from this SoCal-based band but it’s pretty easy to see that the future is going to be brighter than bright for this band if this is just the beginning.
