Girl at the Rock Shows

It’s a long weekend but that doesn’t change the fact that I already feel like I’m “RUNNING OUT OF TIME” when it comes to getting everything done that I want to. That’s what makes this new song from We Told You So such a perfect soundtrack for my Sunday morning.

If the first lines of this song don’t hit you straight to the gut, well, I don’t know what to tell you. It was love at first lines and I instantly fell into We Told You So’s world with no hope of returning. This angsty and gritty little bop is about exactly what the song title says– “RUNNING OUT OF TIME.” It’s about living life to the fullest and how life, at the end of the day, is far too short. I feel like, in this day and age, it’s so hard to remember that. We all get so wrapped up in work and daily life just trying to survive in this nutty universe that we forget that joy is all we really have. I know it sounds so dramatic but listening to this song put it into perspective and, although I absolutely plan on getting work, chores, and cleaning done today, I also plan on taking time to enjoy life in general.
