I have a giant project sitting on my desk that I should really get a jump on, but truthfully, I just don’t want to. All I want to do today is work on my own stuff and check out some new music, so let’s put the project off a wee bit longer and check out “i love you, still” from The Mightabins.
Who doesn’t have a story about a long-lost love? Maybe that love isn’t even lost. Maybe it’s your best friend. Either way, we all have that story, and The Mightabins have turned said story into an angst-filled anthem full of glittery guitar solos and enough energy to knock you on your ass or knock some sense into you (depending on what you need at the time). This song is short at just under two and a half minutes but don’t let that fool you. The energy within this song is perfect both with how it gets your blood moving and how it speaks to your soul. This is the first song I’ve ever heard from Toronto-based The Mightabins but here’s to hoping that this isn’t the last.
