Girl at the Rock Shows

I don’t know who, if anyone, asked for a dinosaur / pop culture themed band, but that’s exactly what Australia-based Terrordactyl is, and, obviously, this is a realm that should have been explored a long time ago because their track “GRIMLOCK” is just absolutely perfect.

Beyond the wild description, this song had me hooked in the first few seconds. This brutal but quick track starts with the sound of insane and sinister vocals before you get the full power that is Terrordactyl. When that power comes, there’s no turning back. Terrordactyl’s sound is intense, chaotic, and absolutely relentless, but it’s also absolutely perfect. To the untrained ear, this track will definitely sound like a madness-induced headache, but, for you metal heads out there, I have a feeling you’ll love the organization throughout this quick and dirty song, along with the way that the band makes sure that you can hear every one of the sinister elements that make up this track crystal clear. Although under two minutes long, Terrordactyl does a great job of giving you variety and breaks throughout the track while making sure your ADHD is satisfied with the almost glitchy way the track moves.
