Happy Thursday, everyone. How is it already Thursday? How is it already August? Where is the time going, and can I have some back, please? It’s one of those days where I fear I will never get caught up, but, at the same time, I refuse to buckle under the pressure or let it get to me, so, instead of freaking out about the emails that are currently piling up in all of my inboxes, let’s start today off right and check out “Warning Signs” from Future Dweller.

Much like when I heard Future Dweller for the first time, I was instantly shocked by the fact that “Warning Signs” is done by just one human. The sound is huge, and it wastes no time kicking you right in the cheek when this song starts off. There’s an air of darkness behind this song. Some of that comes from the depth in the vocals, but the other part is just the overall vibe. Don’t get me wrong, this song is infectious and definitely has a beat that will give you an undeniable sense of energy, but there’s just something slightly dark about everything happening here. That’s what intrigued me about this song, but it’s the heart and passion that come through loud and clear in this post-hardcore-leaning emo song that made me stay until the bitter end. “Warning Signs” is far from all sunshine and rainbows, but really, I don’t think today will be all sunshine and rainbows either, just given my current workload and how the first few hours have shaken out, so, really, this is the perfect kind of comfort song to kick your Thursday off with.
